Scope of Works

Weaver Demolition delivered a fully managed package of works, covering enabling, demolition and environmental controls, including:

• Hoarding design and installation, providing secure site boundaries, visual screening and clear protection for pedestrians and adjacent properties
• Pavement closures and pedestrian management, carefully planned and coordinated to maintain safe access routes through this busy town-centre area
• Scaffold erection, installed to facilitate safe access, support controlled dismantling activities and protect surrounding structures
• Licensed asbestos removal, undertaken in accordance with all current regulations to safely manage hazardous materials prior to demolition
• Soft strip works, removing internal fixtures, fittings and non-structural elements to prepare the buildings for demolition
• Controlled demolition of existing structures, carried out using appropriate techniques to ensure safety, control and minimal disruption
• Waste segregation on site, allowing materials to be separated efficiently and directed into appropriate recycling and reuse streams
• On-site processing of demolition arisings, reducing off-site disposal and limiting vehicle movements within the town centre
• Installation of drainage swales, designed to treat and manage surface water within the site footprint
• Installation of silt barriers, preventing sediment from entering the drainage system and supporting effective long-term drainage performance
• Drainage connections, enabling treated water to be safely removed from the site and integrated into the wider drainage network
